From the heights of this quiet village, the panoramic view of the Hem valley is fantastic !
In this area, the Gothic church is built on the river-bank. Many walkers make their way along the GR 128 at the edge of the Tournehem forest, to see the V1 launch site, dating from the second world war. The French forestry commission has put up a panel to show the position of this site, and more information about this can be found at the Coupole d’Helfaut.
