Nielles-les-Ardres
The church, of simple design, hides a beautiful roman nave and exceptional furniture: the baptismal fonts, 12th century, and the 17th century organ, which has been newly restored (Organ-chest by Jean Piette in 1691, the instrument of Guillaume van Belle in 1696).
The chateau is of mixed architecture: Classic front towards Ardres (1802-1812) and a medieval look, flanked by two pillars, towards the village and a dove-cote from 1693 (private property). |
